Dorchester Festival Achieves Record-Breaking Fundraising Success with Support from JLL

[Dorchester, Oxfordshire, 2024] The Dorchester Festival celebrated its most successful year

yet, raising an impressive £62,000 to be split equally with their charity partner, Restore. This

remarkable achievement underscores the festival's growing prominence and its steadfast

commitment to supporting local causes.

JLL, a leading full-service technical production company specialising in TV, Film, Event, and

Exhibition Technical Production, played a pivotal role in this year’s success. With a longstanding

relationship dating back to their first paying client over a decade ago, the Dorchester Festival

holds a special place in the hearts of the JLL team.

The 10-day arts festival, which ran from May 3rd to May 12th, transformed Dorchester Abbey

and its surroundings into a vibrant hub of cultural and artistic activities. Known as one of

Oxfordshire's premier festivals, the Dorchester Festival continues to draw crowds and raise

significant funds for local charities each year.

This year, JLL showcased their expertise by handling the AV technical production for several of

the festival's intricate smaller stages. However, the highlight of the festival was undoubtedly the

Illuminated Big Band Night, featuring the BBC Elstree Concert Band and The Oxford

Collutorium Singers. This event, celebrating the grandeur of West End musicals, was brought to

life by JLL’s exceptional lighting, video, and sound production, making it a night to remember.

"We are incredibly proud to have contributed to the success of the Dorchester Festival," said

Dan Terzino, Projects & Productions Director at JLL. "Supporting such a significant local event,

especially one that helps raise funds for Restore, is truly rewarding. We look forward to

continuing our work with the Dorchester Festival team in the coming years."

The funds raised will aid Restore, a charity dedicated to supporting mental health recovery,

enabling them to continue their invaluable work within the community.
